Duluth Guitar Academy

Welcome!  I offer guitar lessons for all ages, specializing in Classical Guitar and the Suzuki Method.  

I have a Master's degree in Classical Guitar Performance, as well as pedagogy training in all 9 Suzuki Guitar books through the Suzuki Association of the Americas.   I also hold teaching positions at UMD and UWS.   I am a parent myself and have worked as a preschool music specialist in addition to giving guitar lessons.   

I have performed with the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra, Twin Ports Choral Project, Lyric Opera of the North,  Lake Superior Youth Chorus , Minnesota Guitar Society and many other ensembles ranging from youth to professional.  I also have lots of experience playing genres beyond classical guitar having been 

My students have had the opportunity to play in masterclasses with world-class guitarists including William Kanengiser,  Ana Vidovic, Jason Vieaux,  Berta Rojas, and the Brasil Guitar Duo.  They also attend Suzuki Institutes and the International Conference in Minneapolis.
